The system main function is to control the entire pumping station through the monitoring of pressure, flow, and levels of strategic points.
Intelligent instruments equipped with built in evaluation units were used to provide dual redundancy to ensure maximum control system availability.
These were connected to a fully programmable front-end system which in turn is connected
via Ethernet to the control room PC, where SCADA/MMI functions were implemented.
